phhs
Hello everybody We are currently reorganizing our class-structure and i am looking for a way to easily rename classes in old documents. Now I have run into the problem, that i cant rename multiple classes to a single class. The built-in Class-&Layer-Manager always adds the suffix -2, -3, etc. I have tried to write a custom script but vs.RenameClass has the same problem. The obvious alternative would be to loop through every object and move it to the correct class, but that seems quite slow. Does anybody know of a better way to do that? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Once you have one version of the class with the correct name, just delete the other classes that should use that name. You will be presented with a dialog box asking what you want to do with the objects in that class. Just reassign them to the proper class. 1 Quote Link to comment
