DAFlannery
How can you move a door vertically on a wall. Occasionaly it is easier to make a quick drawing without having all the floors accurate but the door always stay at the bottom of the wall. How to overcome? ALSO Sometimes garage doors don't go to the bottom of the wall and they won't move either. What gives? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 7, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 7, 2002 To move any object vertically in a wall, use the 3D reshape tool in a 3D view. Quote Link to comment
Hannes
Are you aware about the 'Height'field in the objectinfo? Select your door and type in the value you want. Also if the door is a symbol you can edit the symbol and move the door up. In this case all inserted instances of the symbol in the drawing will change it's z- position.
