Macbook compatibility

Which used Macbook Pro or Air 2018 or newer is compatible with VW2021. 

I'm looking for a used MB pro or air for my daughter in college. She is a design major.

You should take a look if the macOS of your offers fits the requirements

or if there is even an option for following VW versions, which may need

higher macOS versions.

Also take a look at the Hardware recommendations (GPU !)

 

Beside the new/current Apple M1 machines with Apple Silicon chips

seem to all run VW 2021 fine. They start from %700 to around $ 2500.

Maybe the upgrade price isn't that much over used ones,

but they would be able to run a little longer.

(Especially for former Intel Macbook Airs or Mac Minis, where previous

Intel versions, with integrated graphics, weren't really recommended for

VW CAD usage)

But if you get a good offer for a Macbook Pro, like a 15" with dedicated

graphics card, that would be ok too.
