MGilc
Hi, I have a window, see picture, that has a stone sill. If I apply a timber texture to the window, it applies to the masonry sill too. How do I go about having one texture for the frames and another for the masonry sill? Also, The masonry sill is producing a bizarre angle that slopes towards the window instead of away. I've been fiddling with the settings but still odd. So far I have created a new class for the window texture and applied it to the window. Ty Window Sill Texture.vwx Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
The Window in Wall object in the O.I.P. should be in a 'Window-Main' or similar class. Then in the window settings in the 'Classes' section, create classes for all the different elements (jamb in + out, sash in + out, etc) + set the textures in these classes. The jamb + sash classes control the look of the window, the sill class the sill. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Re the sill, these settings: Get it looking like this: Not sure exactly what dims you're after but this is what I'd generally do for a fairly standard masonry/timber sill 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If you go to the Class pane of the Window Settings you should be able to put the sill in a separate class and have it use the attributes of that class to give it a different texture than the rest of the window. 2 Quote Link to comment
