hollister design Studio
Roof object offset itself 18' (see attached). I tried to move it back into place but it says "associated roof/roof face cannot be moved because it is constrained to walls". I have the walls fit to objects above. I tried undoing but it has no effect on the roof offset. How do I "re-ping" the roof back to it's proper position? Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
You probably need to disassociate the walls in the O.I.P. (where it says 'wall clipping') Quote Link to comment
0 hollister design Studio
@Tom W. thanks I'll try to disassociate, and then re-center, then re-associate. Any idea why VW would shift a roof object like that - and then not make it undo-able? I saved the file as 'error-roof' and opened a backup to keep working. Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
I suppose another option is that it was the walls that moved not the roof? It looks a little like one building is overlapping the other...? Or you could offset the roof like that by using the reshape tool, but unlikely that happened by accident... Quote Link to comment
