CW2020
The cursor datum could be turned off, correct? If so, please share how to do this. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
What do you mean by "cursor datum"? The Datum point is a resettable point that the local measurements are made from on the cursor. This can be turned off (at least so it does not change automatically) in the Snapping Settings (double click on any of the options in the Snaps palette) and then in the Smart Cursor Settings pane of the dialog box. If you end up needing it you can still manually force it by using the "G" key. If this is not the datum you are talking about, you will need to clarify what you are trying to do. CW2020
I'm referring to the info that appears on the cursor while drafting (see attached). I guess I use it occasionally, but sometimes it's just one more item on a screen.... on technical drawing I think I'd leave it off if possible. Quote Link to comment
CW2020
I do use it with some frequency, the more I think about it. But yeah, sometimes I wouldn't mind having it off. Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
@CW2020 , I think you should look under the Gear Icon in the upper right of the VW window for control of the Floating Data Bar: HTH, Raymond 2 Quote Link to comment
CW2020
Yes, that's it! I think Pat touched on those settings in recent user group meeting, I just couldn't remember. Thanks to you both. Quote Link to comment
