Create Property Line

When I try to create a property line the Segment Info. bearing box dose not have the deg. min. sec. symbols. It has 0. How do I enter the angle information deg. (N 76? 32'23" W)

Hi Chris,

If you are on a Mac the keystroke for the degree sign is option-shift-8; on Windows the key combination is alt-0-1-7-6.

The fields accepting bearing strings in the Property Line tool will also take N20d30m15sE as a format.

Variations of these formats work when spaces are inserted, as well.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried alt key with the numbers but did not work, the dms works, but I would like to use the labels with the deg symbol. Can this bug be fix in the next update.

Try the numbers on the far right of the keyboard (alt+...). Should work.

I GOT THE PROPERTY LINE TO WORK. BUT THE NEW LABELS TOOL ONLY SHOWS IN THIS FORMAT(N20d30m15sE).

IS THERE A WAY TO GET THE SHOW WITH THE SYMBOLS?

ALSO PRESSING THE ALT. KEY DID NOT WORK ON EITHER SIDE I HAD TO COPY IT FROM THE WINDOWS CHARACTER MAP.
