Benchmark elevation text alignment

Recommended Posts

HI-

How can I position the text so the elevation is below the line, not on the line ?

Thanks

@taliho There are several settings that will prevent that from happening.

From your example, when you say 'elevation' being below the line, do you mean the text block itself?  Also, what exactly is that object on the right

next to the dashed line??

@taliho Also, you posted your inquiry in the 'Hardware' forum, which be have been better to post it in the 'Troubleshooting' forum :-)

Thanks -

Can I move the topic to another forum or do i post a new topic?

My settings are with the intent that the title will be above the line and the elevation below the line.  It was fine for a while, and now the elevation has creeped up.

In the drawing label tool there used to be a place in the OIP to determine the placement of the scale below the line.(no longer there - you need to edit the label for style now)  I was wondering if there is a similar way to style the elevation benchmark marker.

Ah I see what you mean. I have no idea sorry. It's not styled, but I can't even see the symbol in defaults. You can find it in plug in manager although not sure how much use that is. It's funny how you say the elevation text has crept up... Sorry no ideas at all. But I'm intrigued! I'm sure someone else will have a suggestion. If you repost in troubleshooting!
