Sam Jones
Is it possible to set the visibility of a class in a viewport with vector script. I would want to create a class override and set the visibility of the class to either visible or not visible. It seems possible to set all sorts of class attributes but not visibility. Also, is is possible to set the viewports "Adjust flipped text" setting? Hoping this is possible, and I am maintaining my inability to search the function reference with any skill. 1 Quote Link to comment
MRoth
For the visibilities you can use SetVPClassVisibility. In the function reference you can find it under the group Objects - Groups. There should actually be an object variable for the texts. If I am not mistaken, it should be 1029 - Flip Text. But it has not been tested. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
MRoth is correct, Visibility is not considered an override, but rather part of the Viewport Visibility Group (VPs also have Annotation Group and Crop Group). Quote Link to comment
Jesse Cogswell
You should be able to set the "Adjust Flipped Text" setting using SetObjectVariableBoolean(viewportHandle,1029,TRUE/FALSE). No worries about the function reference, it's a tricky thing to navigate. There's so many things you can do using object variables, but it involves poring through the appendices. I've gotten pretty good at using Ctrl+F to find what I'm looking for. Quote Link to comment
