Company Call BV Posted January 13, 2021 Share Posted January 13, 2021 Hi Probably topic 103040201 about this but I don't seem to get it fixed. I have a DWG drawing that I want to import in VWX but after the import the measurements are not correct. I don't want to scale the drawing after the import, as this is not good practice. Can somebody tell me what i'm doing wrong? The DWG in attachment. My import settings so far: units: cm and I put the scale to 1:1 Thanks! A_A0_BT_100_101_300_20170508.dwg Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted January 13, 2021 Share Posted January 13, 2021 It is likely that the units in the DWG are not cm. Can you measure something and see how much it is off? 10 would suggest mm, 100 would suggest meters, 2.54 would suggest inches, 30.48 would suggest feet. Or it could be the inverse of those values. Jeff Prince Posted January 13, 2021 Share Posted January 13, 2021 (edited) @jdepaepe the file you posted has elements that are in two different scales 1/50 and 1/100... The dwg was presumably drawn in CM, based upon the dimensioning present. Using these settings will get you there. You will then have to scale the 1/50 plan by 0.5.
