michaelk
I feel like I've run into this problem before, but my poor brain doesn't remember the solution. In hidden line rendering elevations in SLVPs I'm getting unwanted lines where two identical round walls stack on top of each other. Is there a way round this? Open GL: Open GL + Hidden Line w/ 30º Smoothing Angle Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Are you sure they are exactly coincident? If the diameters are slightly different, or the center points are even slightly off you will probably get the separation lines. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Yep. I did a test with a curved wall on one design layer and then duplicated it to another design layer with a higher elevation. the line doesn’t show up in open gl with draw edges on but it does show up in hidden line no matter what the smoothing angle is Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Looks like you are out of luck. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
That's what I thought. Looks like I'm using the old Extract trick :-). Quote Link to comment
