I seemed to be installing fine until the very end when i got a message saying "Error opening MacHaspUsbDD 1008:6,-43 File not Found" We have OS 9.1 and still have VW 8.5.2 Architect loaded (in addition to VW9) Any suggestions? FrankMcGahon Posted July 10, 2001 Share Posted July 10, 2001 You need to get the usb hasp driver so your mac can recognise the hasp dongle, it's at ftp://128.121.126.109/pub/files/MacHaspUsbDD.sea.hqx I had to search the net to find it myself, it's bad form really, it should have been included on the installation cd but it wasn't..... Basically there was a problem with a batch of CD's from the print house we use. No more bad mac cd's are being sent out. Unless you actually have a physical dongle, then it is safe to ignore the message and click past it. If you have an Industry series product you may now insert disk 2 and proceed with he installation. Speedy Gonzales Posted July 12, 2001 Share Posted July 12, 2001 I still haven't received my update. Can someone give me some idea of how long it usually takes and whether I need to contact NNA. I am registered and am assuming it will just arrive on its own. Or is that my feeling about how the software should work?I'm confused. As far as I know the mass mailing which was supposed to happen the first week of July has still not happened. Call NNA and ask for a disk. Regarding the error originally referenced above: I do have a physical dongle and still simply clicked past the error message. So far everything seems to be working fine. Customers who are uncertain of their registration status or who have an immediate need for the update should contact our customer service department, 410-290-5114.
