Hall1Inc Posted July 17, 2004 Share Posted July 17, 2004 VectorWorks v9.52 When using the pallete for Nuts and Bolts (inch) I find that the listing of anything smaller than 1/4" is not available. In checking the "Nut Regular Hex-Inch.txt" file, the file contains 0's in all the columns of any nut smaller than 1/4"! Is there a update to this file or another source to obtain the correct data that should be in this file? Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted July 19, 2004 Share Posted July 19, 2004 Hello, The hex nut and square nut sizes are based on ASME Standard B18.2.2 which does not list any sizes smaller than 1/4". This is why there are no data for those sizes. The only nuts that are available in sizes smaller than 1/4" are the Hex Nut - Machine Screw and Square Nut - Machine Screw (both of which are based on ASME B18.6.3.) Tom Urie Nemetschek, N.A.
