Plant styles, libraries, etc.

I'm new, so pardon my ignorance!  I just downloaded the Vectorworks plant libraries so I can place specific plants on my designs.  I see where they downloaded when I look in file explorer on the computer (Vectorworks 2020/Libraries/Object Styles/Plant/Species Specific...), but I can't access them in the plant style toolbox (which only has "Basic Template Plants" in the same "Plant" folder as the "Species Specific" folder).  How do I access them?

Welcome aboard!  You should add your vectorworks version and package to your signature, or at least mention it in your post to get the best help.

Why did you have to download the plant libraries?  They are usually included with the initial install.

Here is what the "plant style" picker should look like on a default installation of Designer.  The species specific stuff is nested within folders.

Yes, I think that's exactly where they are, but when I click on plant style, this is all I get:

hmm.  I use a mac, but that file structure seems correct.  Are there actually .vwx files for the plants inside those folders?

I guess so.  The Basic Template Plants file is a .vwx, and each of the files in the species specific folder are .vwx.  I wonder if there's a magic "update" button I can press somewhere.  I tried closing and reopening the program after I downloaded everything, but it didn't help.

Refresh your libraries in the Resource Manager and they should appear.

Thanks, I eventually figured it out by frantically left and right clicking all over the place till something happened!  It's such a simple little task, but I couldn't find any documentation anywhere on how to do it!
