Matisse
I have been looking through the sdk and the VS reference and cant fin any indication of how to link a PIO to a viewport. Anyone able to point me to documentation? m Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Please tell us what you are trying to do. I don't understand the concept of "link a PIO to a Viewport". Quote Link to comment
Matisse
Trying to understand how the Detail Callout Tool or the Interior Elevation Marker Tool links to a viewport. I created an interior elevation marker a few years ago that I would still prefer to use, but like the new abilities of the VW tool. m Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't think that functionality has been exposed in the SDK or VS. Hopefully it will be someday. Hopefully @JBenghiat will tell me I am completely wrong and that it is now easy to do. ;-) Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
There’s now a marker interface in the SDK, but I’m not sure to what extent that allows for custom markers. 2021 significantly increases the customization options for markers, so I would see if you can modify an existing marker and create a style. You may even be able to place a pio in the marker geometry. Quote Link to comment
Matisse
Thanks, I will take a look. For some reason, we tend to work on projects that don't always have walls at 90° to each other, so trying to maintain that aspect of the pio we use. Quote Link to comment
