Christian Fekete
Is there a way to setup a marker type (end of line) which you setup in previous file? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Copy a line that has that marker type and paste into the new file? Seems to work for me. Quote Link to comment
Christian Fekete
I understand and I do that right now but it would be great not to have to look in a past drawing but to have it available in the list of markers. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Save in your template file? Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
If there's a marker you know you'll use a lot, you can edit the default marker list via Tools > Options > Edit Marker List. This should affect all future files. Quote Link to comment
Christian Fekete
@Andy Broomell This does not seem to be working though, I do not see the new marker in following files, that would seem to be easily included in the vectorworks standards options Quote Link to comment
Mitchell (the other one)
Just tested Tools > Options > Edit Marker List and it works for me. Rather than add yet another marker to the list of 15, I edited one that I have never used, No. 15, what is that marker? After editing, the outline shown under type seems to be based on the marker root type you started from, the width, angle and thickness are the new defaults you entered. After closing and re-opening VW, the changes have been saved and I can apply them within the document. They can now be set as defaults. Quote Link to comment
