Aaron Black
Please, someone please tell me there is a way to turn off the snap grid from ever coming on again. The snap grid on any new document is always on and set to 1". Which means for every document I start I am FORCED to turn off the grid (which always comes back on no matter what) or change it to .000001" to do any sort of detail less than 1". Please tell me there's a way to change this permanently. Quote Link to comment
markdd
You can turn off the grid from the snapping palette and it should never come on again. To help prevent accidental activation, remove the A shortcut key from your workspace using the Workspace editor under the Keys tab. These is no way to remove the button from the basic tool palette that I know of. You can change the snap grid to something more useful and store that in your default template file, but if you never want to see it again, then the above is the best I can offer you! 2 Quote Link to comment
