I want my Command T for TRIM

Why did the most useful keystroke shortcut disappear? Was that a bright move or am I the dope who can't find the new keystroke?

Have you tried editing your workspace overlay? You can add, delete and make up key and option/key commands here. Hope this helps.

I have a similiar issue with missing 'command' T- except when I try editing my workspace to include command T, I get a message:

The following items are no longer part of

Vectorworks: Export Quickdraw 3D... Trim Rendering

Needless to say, command T will not work afterwards.

Is this the same issue as Mr. Seibert's message or a different problem?

Also, the trim tool will not trim walls. Is there a way to trim walls?

To trim walls, as well as other stuff, there is the "split" command. At first I missed the trim/slash tool,too, but this split tool is quite good. It can cut walls. Hope this helps.

So that there may be no confusion on this issue, I submit there is NO substitute for the efficiency of Command-T. One simple hand movement. Done. Over. Goodnight.

This is just as efficient, once you get used to the change. It sounds like you work all day doing command T's?!? Not a good idea to get emotionally attached to a keyboard command....
