David Seibert
Why did the most useful keystroke shortcut disappear? Was that a bright move or am I the dope who can't find the new keystroke? Help? Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
Have you tried editing your workspace overlay? You can add, delete and make up key and option/key commands here. Hope this helps. ------------------ Jim McAuliffe, RA Quote Link to comment
catchang
I have a similiar issue with missing 'command' T- except when I try editing my workspace to include command T, I get a message: The following items are no longer part of Vectorworks: Export Quickdraw 3D... Trim Rendering Needless to say, command T will not work afterwards. Is this the same issue as Mr. Seibert's message or a different problem? Also, the trim tool will not trim walls. Is there a way to trim walls? Thank You, Catherine Chang Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
To trim walls, as well as other stuff, there is the "split" command. At first I missed the trim/slash tool, too, but this split tool is quite good. It can cut walls. Hope this helps. ------------------ Jim McAuliffe, RA Quote Link to comment
David Seibert
So that there may be no confusion on this issue, I submit there is NO substitute for the efficiency of Command-T. One simple hand movement. Done. Over. Goodnight. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
This is just as efficient, once you get used to the change. It sounds like you work all day doing command T's?!? Not a good idea to get emotionally attached to a keyboard command.... ------------------ Jim McAuliffe, RA Quote Link to comment
