Guest
When I change the VA preferences for finish schedules, new schedules do not reflect changes even if I have create a new file. I recheck the preferences and they are still what I had set them to. What am I doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
Spunkmeyer
Try this step-by-step in a new file (tatally blank) and let me know what occurs: 1. Select the 'VA Records and Schedules' command. 2. Select a record and reduce the # of fields as desired. 3. After selecting OK and returning to the main dialog, select the corresponding schedule. 4. Make a change in the schedule heading, such as a piece of text or column width. 5. After selecting OK and returning to the main dialog, select Done. 6. Select the 'VA Create Schedule' command. 7. Select the schedule type you just modified and place it on the drawing. 8. Check the schedule information to verify that it matches the scope and content you selected in the record and schedule dialogs. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Kevin, I followed your sujjestions and it worked. However in #2, I could only eliminate the remarks field or add new fields. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
Spunkmeyer
Depending on the record you're attempting to edit, you may not be able to remove some fields. For example, ARCHITECT uses some fields (like 'ID') to track information that is placed by other features in ARCHITECT (the ID Tools.) Therefore, some fields are protected by ARCHITECT for this reason. That may be what you're seeing. Quote Link to comment
