The ReadMe file says to increase preferred application memory to 48 MB. What is actually needed for usable functioning: 16 MB? 48 MB? Quote Link to comment

This will get the program up and running, however you will have difficulty with larger files not having enough memory to run. The 48MB preferred is for a general file size. In actuality, VectorWorks and the Architect plug-in like a larger allocation of memory. If you have a very large file that you are working on you may wish to have more. We would recommend having at least 128MB of built in memory on your computer, with 48MB allocated to VectorWorks and Architect. If you have a very large file and are having difficulties working with the file, and you have more built in memory available, such as 192 or 256MB of RAM, then allocate 60 to 80MB to VectorWorks. However, this is not necessary in most cases and will simply limit your other applications unnecessarily. Quote Link to comment
