Smgo
Hi all!. Does VW curtain wall tool have an auto embed option into a standard wall like Revit does or do you have to cut out an ope in the standard wall? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The curtain wall is a replacement for a regular wall. Just leave a gap in the regular walls and use the Curtain Wall mode and it will all join up. 1 Quote Link to comment
Smgo
Thanks. Editing a CW seems easier in VW but the auto embed in Revit is handy as you not have to leave a gap it will make it for you. Trialing VW at the moment to see if its worth switching our office from Revit. Quote Link to comment
TomKen
I use the curtain walls all the time to create our storefront windows. I typically create a window (or door opening) into the wall the size of my storefront. Then once I create my curtain wall door/window assembly I group it and place it into the opening. 1 Quote Link to comment
