David Morris Posted October 20, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2020 Hi there. I'm not sure if this exact question has been raised before but can you advise on these 2 questions: 1). Will the latest new version of VectorWorks (which i'm looking to rent on a monthly basis) allow me to open up, and work on, older VectorWorks 2014 drawings? 2). Is there a minimum require for operating software on my Apple Mac in order for it to run the latest version of VectorWorks? I have workstations still running Yosemite and El Capitan. For Vectorworks 2021, you will need at least Mac OS 10.12 ( Sierra). See the complete list of system requirements HERE Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted October 20, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2020 You will be able to Open VW2014 files, but they will be converted to VW2021 file format. You can export back to VW2016 but not VW2014. If you are trying to work with someone who is still using VW2014 you will not be able to round trip the files. 1 Quote Link to comment
