Travis.Designer
Hi How can I hide a wall temporarily? When I try Visibility Tool, they only hide Class or Layer Thank Travis Edited October 18, 2020 by Travis.Designer Quote Link to comment
Mitchell (the other one)
What about creating a new class, "wall - temporary", put the wall in that class and then turn it on and off as needed. When done, move the wall back into the same class as the other walls? Quote Link to comment
zoomer
^ This. Basically just workarounds. Or using the Clip Cube. I think there are still traces of legacy objects hiding in VW @Pat Stanfordknows how to access it. But I would also love to have an option to temporarily hide selected objects. I have that in Bricscad and got so used to selective hiding. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Take a look at these threads. Ask again if you need more help. 1 Quote Link to comment

Finicky also in the sense that I need to orbit to odd angles/views to both select and move the relevant face. Quote Link to comment

I haven't experienced that, once the Clip Cube is Selected and therefore activated, I was able to approach the CC edges from different directions to activate the CC Face I needed, including occluded Faces. And temporarily deactivating snaps (or moving cursor outside of geometries) may help with correct Face reposition. But I think you will get a feeling for it and I mostly just snap to a suitable located object and just repeat if I was off. 1 Quote Link to comment
