JCDesign
I've recently switched from Mac to PC, and I'm having a very hard time with the precision of snapping, making my drawings seem very sloppy. For instance, something as simple as drawing two lines and dragging one on top of the other. I then zoom in and the lines are not actually on top of each other and I have to move it again another 0.01". This is driving me insane because I will zoom in on a corner where multiple lines meet and nothing will be lined up. Is there a setting or something I can do to improve this? Vectorworks 2019 for PC. Thanks 2 Quote Link to comment
michaelk
There's no difference in snapping behavior between the Mac and PC that I'm aware of. Make sure you have Grid Snap off and Snap to Object on with all the boxes checked. If you double click any of the snapping tools you will get a dialog box for all of them so you can manage the settings. Quote Link to comment
