VWVSpass 0 Posted October 14, 2020 Hi i have been a revit user and recently starting to work in VW 2020. How do we specify the elevation / height where the plan view is cut? For example, I 'd like to see a plan view cut at clerestory window height ( let's say 6', instead of the 'normal' plan view cut height of 4'). How is this done in VW 2020? zoomer 1,082 Posted October 14, 2020 It is in the Settings of each Layer. There is a checkbox : Enable Cut Plane at Layer Elevation XX.XX But AFAIK that will only help to show lower Wall's Top Views instead of looking cut with Components visible, for Top Plan Views. If you need more control you may want a real Horizontal Section Viewport instead. Quote Share this post Link to post
VWVSpass 0 Posted October 14, 2020 Does this mean if I like to show cut clerestory windows, I ll have to make a plan cut section? Quote Share this post Link to post
zoomer 1,082 Posted October 14, 2020 I am not experienced with this but I think yes. Quote Share this post Link to post
