Ivanna Rudnytska
Hi everyone, just wondering if there is a way to create something like the image below in Vectorworks? Thank you :) Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Would be triangular only (You have 2 Quad Polys in your example) but you could use VW's digital terrain model for it. Create an array of 3D Points in Plan (Unfortunately VW has no tools to randomize, so you have to do that manually) Create a DTM from it. Use the new Terrain Sculpting Tools for Z modulation. Or you could try the Subdivision Tool with vertices and edges set to hard edges. There are also other workarounds. Manually. Like creating an array of touching square rectangles. Select all, Modify convert to Mesh. Select and Move individual Vertices in Z by Selection/Move Tool. Or use Marionette if you feel comfortable in visual scripting. I think there is even a node to randomize things. But maybe the easiest way could be to just model/sculpt that thing in Blender and import back into VW .... Hans-Olav
Hi @Ivanna Rudnytska I think there are some marionette networks that create shapes like that. 2 Quote Link to comment
