Worksheet on Drawing is a blank square

Hello,

 

When I try to put a worksheet on a drawing, it shows up and prints only as pictured, not as the worksheet.  What am I doing wrong?

 

I am inserting it by clicking "worksheet on drawing" from the worksheet's file menu.

I have restarted vw several times since noticing the problem.

It occurs in several files, including a fresh blank one.

When you close the worksheet for editing the placeholder will update. When you open the worksheet for editing it will become the placeholder again.

Pro tip: it shows up as a placeholder in the pdf if you print with the worksheet open.  D'oh.

Probably I made it and now I just can see a square like you without any data.
I deleted and added the worksheet to the drawing again, but I just can see an empty rectangle.

Not a bug.  Close the worksheet and it will appear in the placeholder rectangle.  

 

Double click it on the sheet layer or design layer and it will open up to edit again and show the placeholder rectangle.
