VW2021 - Viewport resizing

In VW2020 there was a way to resize a viewport and the viewport scaling would change accordingly. This could be achieved through grouping the viewport and the resize the group. 

 

This seems to be broken in vw2021 the viewport is still there but it doesn't show anything anymore. 

I did check all the settings again, visibility of classes and layers for that viewport etc. but it does not resolve the issue. 

 

Anyone experiencing the same behavior ?

I've messed around resizing Sheet Layer Viewports but found no issue. Can you create a screen recording for this, as there are a number of variables that need to be captured to understand the situation and the problem. 

• If you're on Mac running macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or earlier, open QuickTime Player > File > New Screen Recording
• If you're on Windows, you'll need to use a third-party app. I use and recommend Captura, but do your own due diligence to decide if you trust it. Get it via the developer's website: https://mathewsachin.github.io/Captura/download/

Y! I totally agree, it was nice and easy option to scale the viewport. 

 

Is it possible to turn back this option?

@Alexey Trebukhin I do still have this issue, not sure if the way it worked ever will come back ...

But i do have another workaround, just scale the viewport (without grouping it first) with Modify>Scale Objects>Symmetric by distance.

Is there a reason why this has been removed in VW2021? The ability to Group a viewport then resize it using the control handles then Ungroup it again. This was a really useful function.

Not sure why the grouping thing went went away, but for now one way that's even easier than using Custom Scale is to simply enter a width or height in the OIP under ΔX or ΔY.

I never thought to check this until now but it seems to work again? Since when? (Grouping a VP to interactively resize it). I've been resizing 3D VPs in the OIP for two years...
