Özgür
Hi everyone, I would like to calculate the length of a path between two points (not necessarily vertexes) on a polyline. Does anyone have an idea how can I manage this using marionette? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't think there is a basic way to do this using Marionette. In Vectorscript there is a Function PointAlongPoly that will give you the distance along the line of each point and then you can just do a subtraction. You could probably write your own node that would do this in Marionette. How are you planning to define the two points in your Marionette? Quote Link to comment
Özgür
Hi Pat, Thanks for your answer. I will check the PointAlongPoly function in Vectorscripts. I define points' location by Get Closest Point on Geometry (closest points on the polyline to other two symbols). Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
That sounds like it should work. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
