AG74
Hi how do I get plant tags to display in the viewport without the sketch effect? In fact it would be good to be able to apply the sketch effect solely to the site plan and hardscape layers... Thanks Edited September 15, 2020 by AG74 Quote Link to comment
Jeff Prince
@AG74 Interesting question. I don't know the answer, so I am eager to see what advice you get. One workflow if you don't get a solution... Place your plants on a unique design layer. Copy your viewport exactly ontop of the original. Turn off the plant design layer in the viewport you want to see sketchy, change viewport background render to a sketch style. In the other viewport, turn off all design layers except the plants and don't use a sketch style. Hopefully there is a better way than copying viewports, but it will work if pressed for a solution. 1 Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
You can set the Sketch mode for individual objects in the Render tab of the Object Info Palette. Select a tag. Use the Magic Wand (Select Similar Tool) to select all the rest of the tags. Change the Sketch to None. Quote Link to comment
AG74
How do you select tags and thus edit obj info palette? If I try and select tags the whole plant is selected - doesn't alter the viewport render of the tag Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I was reading too fast. Sorry. I was thinking Data Tag objects, not the tag that is part of the plant object. Hopefully someone else has an idea. Quote Link to comment
AG74
Thanks Pat - Jeff's workaround above is doing the job for now Quote Link to comment
