Text causing VW 2019 to crash

Hi, 

I'm using VectorWorks 2019 and I can't edit or use text, whenever I try the file freezes and doesn't un-freeze. 

I was having computer issues with my Mac so had to reboot my system yesterday, reinstalling macOS Catalina. I then reinstalled Vectorworks. 

I've never had any issues with text previously.

Appreciate any help on this.

1. Try in a new blank file.

2. Change to a dead standard font like Arial or Helvetica. If this works, then use Font Book to check your fonts.

3. Vectorworks Preferences: Reset Preferences button.

4. Quit VW, rename or move your User Folder. Restart VW. A new user folder will be created. Test and see if that solved the problem.

5. Create a new (or just use a different user) through System Preferences:Users & Groups. Test there. If it works then you have a problem with your User account on your Mac.

 

Ask again if none of these solve it.
