Question

Hi all!

We are having problems since updating the Vectorworks to 2020 version. We are using this software on 3 computers, Mac Pro (2019), Mac Pro (2013) and Mac Mini (2013). Only one machine, Mac Pro 2019 (Mac OS X 10.15.6) ,developed issues after upgrading to 2020 (previous version- ....). At the beginning, program was quitting unexpectedly once or twice a day without displaying any messages or laging beforehand. Today, Vectorworks started quitting during rebooting. We cannot get the program to start properly again. After quitting it displays  following error message:

Do you have any ideas what can be causing that and what is the fix? We would be very grateful for any recommendation.

Best!

1. Locate your user folder (Finder:Go menu. Hold down the Option key and select Library. Navigate to Application Support, Vectorworks.) Drag the 2020 folder to your desktop. Restart VW. If it starts there is a problem in your user folder.

2. Create a new User on the Mac (System Preferences:Users & Groups) Switch to the new user account and see if you can open VW. If this works then there is a problem with your User account on the Mac.

3. Make sure you don't have any anti-virus running on the Mac and restart and reinstall VW.
