Allan B Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 Hello, I am a long time CA (current v10) user and a previous VW8&9 user. CA lacks the power of a coventional CAD program but does have it's advantages. It does well with with quick design input and rendering but can drive me crazy when it comes to detailing, dimensioning and page layout. That is when a more conventional CAD program would come in handy. VW12 seems to have some upgrades that make it tempting to consider a change. Does the auto framing work well? How about making a take-off? Are there any other good reasons to change? It sounds like VW has its share of bugs. Any input would be appreciated!! Thanks!! Allan Quote Link to comment
