Bruce Kieffer
What keyboard combination or tool can I use to grow or shrink the width of a text block relative to its center? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You can select the text block and change the Width value in the OIP. If the Horizontal Alignment is set to center it will expand equally in both directions. You can either type in the width you want or you can click after the existing width and type something like +1/2" to add 1/4" to each end of the text block. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Thanks Pat. I am aware of that method, but it sure would be nice if I could do it just by grabbing a side handle, hold down a modifier key, and drag it to the size I want relative to the text block center. The OIP method is hit or miss and can take many tries to get it looking like I want. The drag method would be visual, one and done. Edited August 22, 2020 by Bruce Kieffer Quote Link to comment
