Andy Korn
We cannot offset polygons! Vectorworks crashes and disappears. (I can't find an error log in the usual place either??) We've tried the same file and new files on our other G5 and G4 machines and they can all manage it fine. Interestingly offsetting normal lines isn't a problem, neither is the general performance under the rosetta 'translation' software. iMac 1.83ghz Core Duo 17" 2gb Ram VW 11.5.1 Obviously we can do it all with single lines but it will be a pain. Is there no chance that an update to 11.5 will be released? We only upgraded a few months ago! Quote Link to comment
Bart Rammeloo
There will be no support for 11.5 or older versions on IntelMac. VectorWorks 12 will get its own IntelMac version. Quote Link to comment
alanmac
VW 12 has been out some time. If you only as you say upgraded to 11.5 a few months ago I would have thought you'd be in the catchment time for a free upgrade. Worth checking your dates and with your dealer to see if you are entitled. Alan Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Andrew Bell@NV Posted February 21, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 21, 2006 12.0.0 still has this crash. 12.0.1 stops the Rosetta crash, but offsetting still does not work in all cases on Intel Macs. If you follow this link: http://kbase.nemetschek.net/index.php?ToDo=view&questId=91&catId=23 You will get information about VectorWorks and Intel Mac compatibility. Quote Link to comment
