PeterYip
I was wondering if it is possible to set a default version of file to save? the issue is we have few people working in 2019 and some in 2020 and it would be handy if we could all save files in a version that we can all open and save. Without the need of say 2020 version to export. this issue arise as we are all freelancers with our own software license. Quote Link to comment
rDesign
The short answer is ‘no’, you cannot set a default file version other than the version you’re working in. Do the 2020 users also have licenses of 2019 they can use? So that everyone is working in 2019. Quote Link to comment

BSDS
Thanks Peter for creating the thread Is this something Vectorworks would consider doing? AutoCAD can do it. I keep sending the 2022 versions too, I normally get an email from the client saying they can't open it then I export to the older version. Last thing on my mind when finishing a drawing.
