aa.schump
Hi everyone. Is there a way to turn off the extents line when using a section viewport in elevation mode? (Blue box in the image)The section/elevation is in a design layer and comes in as an instance on the sheet layers. I would like to have the elevation marker only. Quote Link to comment
Boh
I don’t think so. In the past I have just shortened the section line so it is concealed behind the marker. This may “move” your section viewport however. I didn’t think that design layer markers showed in sheet layer viewports. Are you sure there isn’t another marker instance in your vp annotations. TomKen
Select the elevation marker and then in the attributes pallete set the line weight to none -----. This only affects the line and not the marker. Edited August 20, 2020 by TomKen 2 Quote Link to comment

Guest Wes Gardner
Also, keep in mind, the line that you draw to create the elevation (or section) does NOT have to run the full length (or width) of the project. You can choose - see screen shot Wes Quote Link to comment
