John Kiska Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 I installed the 12.0.1 update without any problems. The installer said that the installation was successful. Now when I try to start VW I get the following message: Application Launch Failure The application "VectorWorks" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "5<>" PLEASE HELP!! bldrtom Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 John, I just installed 12.0.1 on my Powerbook G4 1.33, OSX10.4.4. I did not start it up immediately but first ran the disk utility to correct permissions and then did a restart. I have no idea if this is the cause of your problem, but I have had no trouble starting back up again in VW12.0.1. Perhaps worth a try. Quote Link to comment

I just flat out forgot to do it. Unfortunately VW is on my Mac at home so I?ll have to wait until after work to give it a try. Thanks, for reminding me to stick to the rules.
