barnes2000
Does anyone know if it's possible for a curtain wall to have the framing and panels on only one side, and the other side just be a full panel with no segments? Quote Link to comment
mikestanley464
Generally speaking, curtain wall attaches to the outside of the floor slabs, acting as a “curtain” that is literally hung on the building and therefore, non-load bearing. It spans slab to slab, and systems are most often constructed in one of two ways; stick-built or panelized. xwaveone
Stick Curtain Wall System: In this type of curtain wall system, the components are assembled piece by piece on the structure of the building. Unitized Curtain Wall System: In this type of curtain wall system, the parts are already assembled in the factory. Quote Link to comment
