addy
Hi Im having problems with stepped angle lines when i render in full quality. I also need some help on printing in a higher quality, because these stepped lines are being replicated in my pdf's. If any body could point me to an artical or give a detailed explanation it would be most apprciated Thanks Addy Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird
If you're using viewports, make sure the sheet layer resolution is set to 150-100 dpi. Quote Link to comment
DDDesign
I would recommend viewport resolution being 300dpi. Also check that VW preferences/3D/3D conversion res is set to very high. Be aware though, that ultimately all curved 3D surfaces are faceted, unlike 2D curves. That's the nature of the beast. If you want perfect curves, say on the orthagonal view of an extruded solid, you could resort to printing out the 2D profile instead. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted January 31, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 31, 2006 Stepped lines indicates you're not using anti-aliasing. Try using Custom RenderWorks with anti-aliasing on. Quote Link to comment
