PDF's to JPG's exported files have different sizes

JPG is an image, PDF is a mixed media document.  Each file type stores information and compresses it differently.

Probably the main thing is a PDF can store actual vector data and text data, which saves space and reproduces cleaner.

A JPG is just going to store that same information as pixels, it’s a picture after all.
