bonus
In MiniCad, maybe even in VW, there was this great tool "stamp". At some point it was changed to "ID-label" and , -well I'm sure it's more refined and useful in many ways, - but a little too complicated at times. I miss the simplicity of the "stamp" tool. Just clickin' around the drawing with the stamp to get labels with ascending numbers without the need to be attached to specific objects. Is there still something like it left somewhere? somewhere I have not digged deep enough? [ 01-26-2006, 12:01 PM: Message edited by: bonus ] Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
You are referring to the Number Stamp Tool. It is still available - you will just need to add it to your workspace. Quote Link to comment

MPJDesign
I love the Stamp Tool for Numbering Objects, I just wish I could define the text block a little better... when you get to two digit numbers they insert fine..I continue drawing...look back at the 2 digit text and it's constrained itself to look like this: ex: 12 come back to find this: 1 _disregard lines_______2(right under 1) as a text block- so I have to manually expand the text block..which is a pain. I've tried to globally to force the desired numberical text to a bigger font size and then reduce it back down, thinking that that would give the text block the space to allow the number to look correct, but to no avail... any thoughts on this?
