model setup

hello,

i organized my drawing with the model setup and I gave z heights FF to the different mod-floor layers.

problem: when I look at the model in front view or isometric view, all walls in all layers seem be in the same z level. and not on top of each other as supposed and organized in the model setup.

what could it be?

Use Design-Layer > 'delta Z' or unlock the Mod-Layer > Layer Links and manually repostion the Floor Plan Layers to the coorect Z values.

I couldn?t figure out how I could go the ways you recommended.

But when I created a section view and used the stack layers command the layers suddenly were positioned as supposed on top of each other in their z-values.

so I hope it will work from now on.

Marek,

when you want to look at the 3D view, either use the stacked layers command or create a new layer ( i call it Mod-3D Model) and layer link all the other model layers (floors) into it. Then you should see all the other floors stacked up neatly.
