Rotate Hybrid Objects in 3D

Please let us rotate hybrid objects in 3D. I know there are plenty of workarounds, but each of them are many steps more complicated than simply allowing me to create a hybrid object and rotate it without destroying its functionality. I don't know of any good reason to disallow this.

The only good reason is the actual reason. IMNSHO.  No internal knowledge, just a long time user.

"We made a mistake when we originally designed hybrid objects 30 years ago and we are still trying to dig out of the hole to allow 3D rotation without breaking everything else about the program."
