Spiffico
I was hoping that a could get confirmation that Vectorworks Landmark works fine with a Macbook Pro 16. Preferably by someone who has used it. From what I can find it does indeed seem to be compatible but I have come across a few posts and people who have had some trouble. My not so computer savvy sister asked for advice about it, she is going to buy Vectorworks and the laptop for work so I just need to be sure it works. The macbook is this one. There are 2 configs. They are high spec and have dedicated graphics with 4gb memory. https://www.apple.com/uk/macbook-pro-16/specs/ Macbook Pro listed on this compatibility page https://www.vectorworks.net/support/quality-tested-hardware The version she would be purchasing for the landscape design. https://www.vectorworks.net/en-GB/landmark Also, bit off-topic but I might as well ask now. I was told there was a Vectorworks version that dealt with garden design. I looked around and found a few articles about residential garden design version. Is this now defunct? Anyway, good advice much appreciated. Thank you. Quote Link to comment
StefanoT
I bought mine in January, used it heavily with very detailed building models in VW Architect, everything works smoothly although often with fans on for cooling. Specs: Intel Corei7 6-core 2,6 GHz, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB, SSD Edited May 23, 2020 by str 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I agree. I run the 16-inch i9 and it runs VW very smoothly. If you need portable, the 16-inch is definitely the way to go. 1 Quote Link to comment

TKA
I have 16" i9 MBP and Architect 2020 and it runs great, the only limitation is the graphics card, rendering time could be better with a better card. But unless you Mac Pro or iMac pro this is the best choice. Quote Link to comment
