Editable tick marks on dimension strings (or dot to indicate centerlines)

Please can you add the option for dimension strings to have editable tick marks within the dimension.  It would be similar to how the section cut marker can make one end different from the other.  The purpose of this is so we can have a dot to indicate where centerline is (for example a window, door, other...).  We would like to be able to adjust the string of dimensions and not worry about having to readjust the current VW centerline object/symbol.
