islandmon
For most printer, plotter, web images ... a 300x300 dpi seems to work fine with low processor overhead. Doubling the dpi increases the image size 4x ... so it takes 4 times longer to render !!! So try to stick with the minimum acceptable dpi for each presentation. Quote Link to comment
trang
Hi Everyone, I'm rendering a model in veiwport and have tried every rendering mode, but the image is not very good...lines are jagged, textures are fuzzy and I can see the pixels. I've set all the modes to the highest quality, but still no luck. I've looked at the images posted here and they are crisp and clear. Is there something that I'm missing or do I have to bring it into another program to fine tune it...if so what type of program? I also find that some of the mode I render in show only half of the lights. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted December 14, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 14, 2005 The sheet layer has a DPI setting which determines the resolution of rendered viewports. Set that to some value appropriate for printed output, like 150..300 dpi. You can leave the value low like 72 dpi to do test renderings. HTH, Quote Link to comment
