SB Lighting
How does the lighting pipe footprint work in Spotlight 2020? There used to be a Footprint section in the OIP but that is no longer there. I see that you can assign a footprint class but I don't see how you make the foot print visible or interact with it Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
2020 introduces the concept of schematic views, which greatly enhances the footprint concept. The Lighting Pipe itself can now rotate to any 3D angle using the fields at the top of the OIP or any of the usual rotation commands and tools. You can also draw the Pipe directly in 3D. To create the 2D representation of the rotated Pipe, go to Spotlight>Visualization>Create Schematic View. If you're using the footprint to create a not-true-plan-location offset, the Schematic View will work for this as well. Any existing drawings with Pipes that use footprints should automatically create Schematic Views. If you see any issues with up-converting files, please report a bug. Quote Link to comment
