most effecient geometry?

Hi

 

I imported step files and they were drawn very fast in openGL. I had to convert them to get rid of some geometry so i chose nurbs. Now they are very slow to update. I have to watch as face after face is drawn. How can I convert them back to something less clunky?

After you made the adjustments did you run the add solids command and then convert to generic solid? Maybe that’s the answer?

I just converted it to nurbs, edited it slightly and then made a symbol

On a copy of the symbol, try running the add solids command to the geometry and converting to Generic solid and then compare which runs faster.
