Custom Space numbering

Hello All,

 

I'm trying to make a standard for using spaces

 

At the moment we work on several apartment projects and we tend to code spaces the following.

 

level (number).apartment (number).room (number)

 

The way i would like a code to work is, that per space you can select the level and the apartment number. and that the room number is is dependent on the apartment. 

 

So:

 

10.1.1 (level10, ap.1, room1) and 10.2.1 (level10, ap.2, room1)

 

Does someone have any leads how i could get this, without manually entering al the room numbers.

There are some record fields in the space tool that can be customised so you could have seperate fields for floor apartment and room. Combining them into a single field that auto increments is probably not possible ( at least for to do)

Im still looking for a way to reset that counter. that's basically what im looking for.
